Yogic Health Coaching
If you are wanting to feel healthier and live a healthier lifestyle, or maybe you’re just unsure about your current diet, Yogic Health Coaching is for you!
Yogic Health Coaching is about designing a specific Program that is designed for YOU, YOUR BODY and YOUR MIND.
Generic Health and Yoga plans generally tend to make people ungrounded and can cause health concerns as part of their side-effects.
Yoga however is several thousands of years old – well over 5,000 years old in fact, and also includes it’s own medical system called ‘The Science of Life’ (Ayurveda), which is based on individual bodily rhythms, mental types and disease classifications.
Ayurveda is not just about medicine however – although it is described as the world’s oldest and most complete medical system, influencing the world of Chinese and Asian medical systems via Buddhism and even behind western surgical techniques such as plastic surgery. It is hence extremely ancient and comprehensive – but little-known in the West!
Ayurveda, as a sister science to Yoga is about keeping us healthy through proper diet – which means not only what foods we are eating, but how they can affect us personally, and also what herbs, spices and oils to cook with and how their energetics affect our mental and physical health.
If you are practising Yoga, then you can also benefit from Ayurveda’s comprehensive knowledge of special and traditional formulas used by Yogis in India for thousands for years, to improve memory, voice, joints and flexibility, as well as herbal eye, dental, nasal and hair care.
Ayurveda also includes complete analysis of diseases, physical and psychological, including their herbal, dietary, lifestyle and also detoxification and massage techniques and methods to eliminate them. Fibromyalgia, Cancer, Diabetes, Arthritis, Anxiety, Hemiplegia, Parkinsonism etc. are amongst those that Ayurveda has helped through it’s healing system.
Yogic Health Coaching has Three Levels of Coaching Examination:
-Assessing your Biological Constitution through Pulse, Tongue, Digestion and other examinations
-Assessing your Mental or Psychological Constitution
-Assessing your Disease or Biological Imbalances
After this, you will be given specific guidelines, relative to:
-Diet, Cooking and Lifestyle
-Incompatible foods that can cause health issues
-Foods and their psychological effects
-Effects of various foods, herbs, oils and spices
-How Seasons and Climates can affect you and how to remedy them: Foods for the Seasons
-Yoga practices including Breath-energetics, Postures, Hand symbols, Yogic techniques for Psychological imbalances, Energetics of sound and mantra and also Pressure-point therapies
-How various impressions as colours, thoughts, aromas or scents and other can affect and upset our mental metabolism, leading to physical diseases and complications
These are very important, since our own bodily makeup is not generic but unique, and hence possesses unique biological rhythms that can be upset by certain foods, energies or foods (cooked or uncooked), as well as impressions such as the media, sights and impressions around us also.
